Guwahati Senior District Volleyball
Guwahati Senior District Volleyball teams (Men & Women) participated in 59th Inter District Men/Women Volleyball Championship held at Bijni from 2nd to 4th February 2024.
Both the teams played up to final match and became Runners-up in both the category.

59th All Assam Senior Inter District Volleyball Championship Report
Men Volleyball Championship:
Guwahati beat Bijni in the 1st league match by 3-0 sets. Guwahati lost 2nd League match 0-3 sets against Barpeta District. After that again 3rd league match Guwahati beat Kamrup District Volleyball team by 3-0 sets and entered the Quarter Final.
In the quarter final match Guwahati District team beat Assam Police Team by 3-2 sets and entered the Semi Final. In the Semi Final Guwahati District team faced against Nazira District Team and won the match by 3-0 sets and entered final.
In the Final match Guwahati played against North East Frontier Railway Sports Association. Guwahati lost the final match 2-3 sets.
Women Volleyball Championship:
Guwahati District Women team beat Dibrugarh District team by 3-0 sets in the first league match. In the second league match Guwahati beat Barpeta by 3-0 sets. In the 3rd league match Guwahati got walkover against Gossaigaon. After winning the all league matches Guwahati entered quarter final. In the quarter final Guwahati beat Dhakuakhana by 3-2 sets and entered the Semi Final. In the Semi Final Guwahati beat Bhergaon by 3-0 sets and entered the final.
In the final match Guwahati District team lost the final match against Bajali by 2-3 sets.
