13th R G Baruah All Assam Major Ranking Table Tennis Tournament 2023

The 13th RG Baruah All Assam RankingTableTennis Championship 2023 was held from 7th to 10th September 2023 at the DTRP Indoor Stadium, Guwahati. More than 450 young paddlers from different districts of Assam participated in this tournament. This tournament is regarded as one of the flagship table tennis tournaments of Assam which was organised by the Guwahati Sports Association  under the aegis of Assam Table Tennis Association. All participants displayed the highest quality of competitive edge and sportsman spirit. The organisers left no stone unturned to provide all participants with state-of-the-art facilities including a well lighted indoor  arena, internationally approved competition grade TT tables and TT balls. In addition to that, all participants and their guardians were provided with packaged drinking water and hygienic meals at all times of the day at a very nominal cost. The tournament was inaugurated by Hon’ble Mayor of Guwahati, Shri Mrigen Sarania. The prize distribution and the closing ceremony was attended by Shri Pijush Hazarika, Hon’ble Minister, Government of Assam and President of Assam Table Tennis Association, DirectorofSports and officials of ACA.  A total Prize money of INR 1,10,000/- was distributed among all medalists. The tournament was sponsored by the SM Group of Companies and SBP Commercials, with additional support from Purabi Dairy, Donic and Verma Sports. TableTennis section will also organise the Inter Club and All Guwahati Open TableTennis Championship.
